The story revolves around the main protagonist of the God Of War series, Kratos who is on his quest to defeat Thanatos, the god of death with the help of his imprisoned brother Deimos. The gameplay consists of very interesting cutscenes and a post-credit scene which sets up the plot for the God Of War II.

3. Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team

The Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team is a 2 vs 2 RPG game based on the Dragon Ball Z franchise.
It has over 70 customizable characters from the franchise itself along with their different transformations. It features 1 vs 2, 2 vs 2, and 1 vs 1 battle modes, Deep combo-based combat system, Super blast special moves of different characters and much more.

4. Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai

It is an RPG game based on the characters from the Dragon Ball Z franchise. though it does not feature the tag team 1vs 2 or 2 vs 2 battle modes like the Tenkaichi Tag Team, DBZ: Shin Budokai has a very interesting story mode which evolves according to the choices that players make. It also has a single-player arcade mode and Z trial mode. You can play as Goku and his friends and also as the enemy characters.

The Shin Budokai – Another Road was launched in 2007 and is the sequel DBZ Shin Budokai. It has a very deep ‘What If’ storyline and also an arcade mode. All in all, it has good combat, special attacks, cutscenes, and pretty good graphics for the PSP.

LittleBigPlanet feels like a refined HD version of Mario Bros. It features a cute little character named Sackboy who goes through a bunch of missions where you have to run, jump and grab from one to another side of the screen. It might seem pretty simple but LittleBigPlanet is one of the most soothing titles for PSP and you’d definitely enjoy it on the PPSSPP emulator.

31. Ben 10: Protector Of Earth

Rated 7.8 out of 10, Ben 10: Protector Of Earth is one of the best RPG-action titles for PSP. Earth is in danger and about to be swallowed in darkness when Ben suddenly finds out his alien powers are gone. The Tennyson family is on the quest to get back the source of Ben’s abilities. And fight the Vilgax who has united with the Forever Knights, and Kevin 11 to capture the Omnitrix.
The game features different characters from the TV show including different aliens with their own sets of abilities.

32. Star Wars: Battlefront II

Star Wars: Battlefront II is an action-shooter game for PSP released back in 2005. The characters in the game are based on the prominent TV series and movie Star Wars.
It has very awesome story missions in the single-player mode which are based on 6 Star Wars films. Battlefront II may not be one of the highest rated titles. But, It is a treat for the franchise fans and one of the most enjoyable PPSSPP games.

This one needs no introduction at all. TEKKEN has always been the favorite fighting game of every 90’s dude (We are not kids anymore ;_; ). TEKKEN 6 is a graphic intensive fighting game where you get to choose from like 43 or more different characters. Each character has a number of different combos and special moves. It has different gaming modes and features a very interesting story mode.

34. TEKKEN: Dark Ressurection

TEKKEN: Dark Ressurection follows the same storyline of TEKKEN 5 but adds two new characters and returns one character (which are for you to find out). It follows the consequences of King Of Iron Fist Tournament 4, Heihachi Mishima plans to steal the Devil Genes of Kazuya and Jin Kazama. The storyline of the game is very interesting and the gameplay is as good as it can be.

35. WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2011

SmackDown vs RAW 2011 is an RPG wrestling game which is nothing less than a treat for WWE fans. You can play as your favorite wrestler from WWE in different types of matches and options. You can also modify the outfits of wrestlers and play championships.
There is also a new WWE Universe mode which is basically a type of career mode. You should definitely try this on your PPSSPP emulator for android.

36. Mortal Kombat: Unchained

Mortal Kombat: Unchained was released back in 2006 is an RPG-fighting game. It has a very good graphics and gameplay.

This game has everything that you’d expect from a hip-hop brawler on PSP. It includes 68 different characters including famous hip-hop celebs like Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and more. Each of them has a different sound, looks, and playing style which is something that I’d prefer over no. of characters. It is a simple fighting game with impressive graphics and advances wrestling style.

38. Need For Speed: Most Wanted 5-1-0

NFS: Most Wanted 5-10 is all about illegal races and never-ending police chases. There is a career mode where you have to beat the 15 racers from the blacklist in more than 75 different challenges to become the most wanted racer in the Rockport city. It also has some other game modes like Instant Race, Custom Race, Outrun, and Turner Takedown.
There are also different race modes like Circuit, Sprint, Lap Knockdown, and Time Trial.
You can build your favorite ride by winning the races and buying & upgrading your vehicles.

39. Wipeout Pure

Wipeout Pure is an adrenaline racing game which was released back in 2005 for PSP. It has awesome 3D graphics and animations.
You have to race on a curvy track in a totally different environment. It features futuristic vehicles and awesome soundtracks which gives you one of the best racing experience ever. You can also play the 8 player tournament via wi-fi.

40. Ridge Racer

Ridge Racer is a classic arcade racing game which was released for the Sony PSP. It has a very interesting gameplay. You can race on 24 circuits on the mind-blowing speed and can also drift through the curves. There are different gaming modes like World-Tour mode, Time-Attack and a wireless battle mode where you can race with up to 8 players via wi-fi.

41. MotorStorm: Arctic Edge

Get ready to race on the freezing tracks of Arctic with the MotorStorm: Arctic Edge. The game features an awesome 3D gameplay, icy-curvy tracks, and a bunch of vehicles including bikes, trucks, and cars. There are different types of racing modes like normal races, Speed checkpoint challenge, Time ticker, and more.

Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition is the first game in Midnight Club series to feature real-life licensed cars.
This is an arcade racing game which mainly focuses on high-speed driving. Also, the game features different soundtracks and it is one of the highest rated PPSSPP games.

Moto GP for PSP gives you data for the 2005-2006 season. It has a no. of interesting game modes that you can play. The most important mode is the Season mode. You will be riding through each round of a real Moto GP season. You have the option to practice and enter qualification after which you race for points in the championship. From my own personal experience, I can tell you that it isn’t a game that you can master casually, it takes a whole lot of concentration to make sure that you stay on track.

This is a racing simulation game made especially for the diehard Formula One fans. Gamers who were looking for Formula one fix are satisfied to some extent with this one. Sony’s Formula one 06 is although a little rough around the edges but is still one of the best attempts at making games of this genre. This game is surprisingly addictive. AI drivers are very close to real ones. The major drawback of both the versions of F1 available is the missing online play.

45. SBK’07: Superbike World Championship Review

SBK’07 faces tough competition with Moto GP. But it provides a good alternative for it too. Milestone, the developers have given more focus to the details. This sport is followed a lot by tuning and modding community. The game grew out to be a great success due to the plenty of customisation options that are available. Online play is completely absent and multiplayer mode is limited to a maximum of 4 players via local area network.

46. F1 2009

PSP owners got their hands first on F1 2009 while other platforms like Xbox 360, PS3 and PC had to wait till 2010. It is similar to the F1 06 but with better graphics and a new season. The tracks are updated along with the cars and rider stats. Still, no online multiplayer option was provided and we have a decent 4-player local wireless mode.
